Having to watch people fall short of their goals because they let other people hold them back. No fun. Quit living for anyone else besides yourself. You owe it to yourself to fully devote your personal energy into what ever it is you dream of. No relationship will ever be more important than the one you have with yourself.

Film throwback of this drawing because… IT’S MAH BIRFDAY! Yay for being closer to death? But it’s ok for now because I’m 24 now. I’m in my prime. Watch out.

Would you fall afresh like rain on us
Burst the doors and flood the halls
Into forgotten rooms inside our hearts

And we will all be swept away
In the current of your love and grace

Since I see many people doing things like the 365 project, pushing themselves to create on the regular, outside of work, I’ve decided to take on my own personal project: Motivation Tuesday.

I need routine and accountability in order to keep me motivated and on task, but daily posts seemed daunting and impossible for a normal schedule. So, with a weekly post, I’ll be sharing in hopes of motivating others and myself through a format that pushes my skills in design, photo, and illustration.

And let’s be honest, Tuesday is probably the most boring day of the week.

I spent the last two hours doing taxes

… just to estimate for first quarter. I want to be dramatic and say angry things but.. now that I feel grown up from writing out checks and putting stamps on envelopes I must instead say something wise like.. “Be thankful for the employers that automatically take out taxes for you.”

But then again, DARN GOVERNMENT taking all my hard-earned time and money! Hmph!

Home | So glad to back home, with my routine, with the ability to create again. I loved Seattle, but Minnesota has my heart.
